The Contact Tracing course is aimed at the Contact Tracer team deployed by our partners to help with local contact tracing efforts.

The course starts with an introduction to COVID-19 and followed by a look at the disease in a detailed manner. You will learn about the symptoms, high-risk people and the scenarios when death may occur.

You will also be introduced to new terms such as "Infectious Period", "Incubation Period" and "Reproductive Number". We will then look at key terms such social distancing, isolation and quarantine. The Course will take you through the right steps to perform contact tracing and the challenges that can arise. You will also be introduced to ethical practices and technology tools that make contact tracing more efficient.

There is also a dedicated module to help you hone ideal communication practices during contact tracing. The course will look at communication challenges you will face. Finally, the course ends with a focus on COVID-19 precautions where you will be guided on the importance of hand hygiene, PPE and waste management.
